Silk stockings and social ladders

This giant board game is situated at Wray Castle, a National Trust property, in the Lake District. The game was designed to teach audiences about the conventions and controls that women from the Georgian period faced daily.

The bespoke design for the board, the fabricated dice and the hand painted rule board, were made by myself and fellow designer Elizabeth Johnson.

Heartfelt- Rusty Squid Robotics company

Heartfelt was a project by Rusty Squid- a robotics company based in Bristol.
We worked closely with a string quartet to build a musical experience where the audience built held wooden hearts which beat along to the rhythm of the musician’s. I cut (using a laser cutter) assembled and polished the wooden hearts.
